Issues and recommendations for fixes.

First and most urgent, the DLC is only accessible with an online connection! Please fix this post haste! :shock:

Main features:

Skirmish Mode is lacking massively. No ability to upgrade ships, no ability to to have more ships than those listed, for the tau not all the escorts are available, please make it more like the solo mode set-up screen, and allow us to customize all forces on both sides with upgrades, names, colours, etc.

Second Solo mode is cool, good job.

Next please double the max point limit, I would like top be able to fight every ship at once! If space is a concern, add a slider next to the force roster, make it skirmish only if you need to, with the other recommendations.

Sorely lacking is a colour scheme editor, please let me custom paint my ships, with Bow, Body, Metal, and lighting colour! I own a 40K army, I know what the ships of the 205th Look like! ;P

Please let us Zoom, out more, and group our forces on the battle map, it can be hard to see which of your four dauntless light cruisers is the one you want with out scrolling over to it.

Minor features:
The game could do with different fighters for each role:

I suggest for imperials
Fighters- Lighting Strike fighters
Bombers - Thunderbolts
Boarders - Valkires

Space Marines:

F: Current.
BM: Thunderhawk
BR: That thing from FW

Tau:
B: Tiger-shark
F: Barracuda
Board: Devilish

The guns on the wings of imperial ships do nothing, please fix this so they fire, if only visually.

The execute button in the tutorial was poorly sign posted, please make it flash red in this instance, I spent three go clicking on the ship itself.

While it isn't quite that detailed (And I assume it never will be), there is an army painter in the game. It's near the top of the screen where you customize your ships.

Haven't noticed that as a problem, myself.

Wouldn't those be obscenely small compared to the current selections? I mean I'm pretty sure the Barracuda isn't even designed for space operations.

Don't see this as a problem, have never struggled to execute a captain, even in the chaos of battle. Only thing I would change is more of a focus on the fact someone is trying to leave. If you fail to hear when they first leave, the ship can sit there for several seconds just getting shot to hell while they spin up their warp drives. Put something on my screen so that even if they're very far away, I instantly know who's trying to flee.

Oechalia is unselectable, as is phroti, as the sector button for bhein morr is in the way.

It would be nice to be able to make a list from which names for smaller ships can be selected randomly.

On the button issue, its only in the tut that its an issue, i didnt realize the skull was a button! :lol:

Finally a save replay, and hudless playback would be a welcome bonus feature!

As a further idea, adding a space marine campaign would be a nice idea, just replace the ships give spire a new icon and darth vader esque voice filter! The adeptus astarties are imperial after all!

Necrons would be cool to see, as would a simple tick-tac-toe, all Race multiplayer campaign.

Also, an option to stay and figter after a mission, i.e. to try to take down a named ship like korns choosen.

The blackstoine fortress. Is named doesnt exist.

Finally the enemy makes not enough use of alternative colours, which makes fighting the same faction less boring.

This game is great, but it has the ablity to be near perfect with just a few tweaks.

Last time i swear, but can we get double the number of ships please? Atleast in skirmish? Id like to be be able to pick ethier battleship without needing to switch admarials or lose upgrades. Thanks.

what resolution are you playing in?
i have never had a problem selecting any planets in the campaign so it might be a bug connected to a less common resolution
there was another guy who couldnt see full ships in the ship selection screen so maybe thats a thing, dont know

and about those "guns" on the imperial ships, its not sure they are guns, might be warp vanes, might be sensors
that is open for discussion, they follow the explanation of the TT for those in which those arnt guns

also seen you asked to be able to group ships together
box select and group it works, you are limited in that a ship can only be in one group but it should allow some group selection for escorts and transports
it would be cool to be able to both group select a individual ship and a larger group that has that ship

I'll check the res; 2560 x 1080, It also fixed the alt-tab issues by down scaling to the next highest.

They're guns, trust me, I'm a 40K nerd, look like heavy-multi-lazers, and the artwork is agreeing, but there is a full discusiion on that in lore.
