How Should the Tau Weapons Sound?

"FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!"

I am afraid that the majority of the people on this forum would not understand the pure brilliance (linky) that is "FREEEEM!" That being said, under absolutely no circumstance can rail weaponry make the FREEEEM! sound. That sound is reserved for Lascannons only!

For railguns a nice sound that can be an inspiration is 1) a distant cannon shot. It is just the crack that the railgun would produce in reality, but the bass and echo the distance provides introduces that futuristic feel. 2) an air blowgun shot. Basically similar effect of a "Bang", but not the usual one.

The railgun should be a sound of the electromagnets charging then discharging. The shot itself should make no sound.

The Ion weaponry should sound like electrical discharges, like a tesla coil or something.

The torpedoes should play the Jaws theme song as they home in on a target and give it a bad day.

The Railguns should sound very familiar with the sound of breaking soundbarrier, maybe a little bit more electric, so i found a good choice is something like:

just close your eyes, and think of a couple of Tau Ships, firering their Railguns at random at a hidden target.
