Not to mention some battleships, battlecruisers and cruisers they captured through the milleniums and refused to transfer to the Imperial Navy. The flagship of the Space Wolves chapter fleet is the Pride of Fenris, a Retribution-class battleship.
Also the flagship of Berek Thunderfists Great Company, the Fist of Russ, was named as a battleship or battlecruiser with a nova cannon. So either Mars or Apocalypse.
it's likely those ships are listed as being battle barges or strike cruisers in the codex... that or GW's retconning again
they might have tried to reduce it then yeah, my guess is the battle barge and strike cruiser lists is also a bit weird, as the space wolves use mostly repurposed Navy vessels. so that's proably something like 2 retributions, 1 emperor, 3 mars battle cruisers, 2 grand cruisers, and a buncha cruisers and light cruisers.
it's still REDICULASLY over sized when you consider the other numbers being thrown around for chapter fleets is around 2-3 Battle barges ~8 strike cruisers and some frigates
