Only in death does duty end and besides that you also end up quickly in grinding hell because you get zero experience points on the destroyed ships. You also only earn 25 renown per loss which means you have to play 8 games to grind out 200 renown for a lousy upgrade when you loose constantly. this damnation is eternal if you cannot disengage fast enough!

Mhm, M-W-J would be the 4th skill on a voidstalker or shit. I'd never sacrifice Radar Beacon, Darkstar Squadron or Vaul's Manuevre for that.

All my eldar ships are level 10 and I am currently resting on a five digit renown number so if my Voidstalker, Boaty McBoatface is destroyed, I simply instantly repair it. It has been happening a tad more often as of late because I am challenging myself to give the enemy a chance by not taking Escorts to spot targets for the bombers.

aah now i can see where you coming from. that totally makes sense. when you are able to stack those renowns to the 111th floor, i wouldn't care that much about leaving the battle too. but since i'm not yet ritchy rich with any race but imperials i stick to it for a while.

In my experience, Eldar has two outcomes. Either you fall flat on your face or you achieve a flawless victory. Usually the latter. I did have a match that devolved into the last 2 remaining ships duking it out, which I won with 2 HP left. Close victories are much better.

Most players will bring several recon probes and slap them on your hull if you get within 10k range.

I divide fight in two stages. In first stage you only use bombers because unlike pulsars you can use them outside 10k range which means you aren't at risk of having recon probe stuck on your ship.

After you destroy third of the fleet with bombers then you go in for the kill and use pulsars to conclude the match faster.

Avoiding being revealed until enemy fleet is weakened solves many problems including Slaneesh

1000x this.

Eldar are best at attrittion bombing then swooping in to pick off stragglers. Vauls, while great is something that's only needed on the Voidstalker because of it's 9k pulsar range.

Your 2x Eclipse don't need it because they're you're finishers.
Other than that, stealth builds are the best, sneaky bomb, drops stasis bombs to seperate the fleet, pick off stragglers with pulsars ignoring stasis bomb. You can use a bunch of different favors, personally, I'm a fan of using Pathfinders to wreck stuff.
