Chaos weakness is "not many torpedos" tho lol. Id love to play with a new ship I just dont see them adding it :s

Though I agree with you, having two persistent ships with torpedos, especially ones that were part of the original list as core ships in the Chaos fleet, would not break that weakness :)

if they added it in, it'd be a battle cruiser and thus at most you'd see two of them in a fleet list. that's not going to turn chaos into a torpedo spam fleet.

If they have torps, it would only make them have 2 line ships with torpedoes (and one escort), also a ship that costs a lot of $, and these torpedoes are basic (nor as fast as imperial upgraded torpedoes, not melta torpedoes either, not as hard to shoot down as eldar, and no boarding torpedoes as Orks) so they would still be counted as having "bad" torpedoes compared to other factions.

It could be an interesting ship to have. Ips could have their own Grand cruisers too.

Grand Cruisers

Grand Cruisers are significantly smaller than battleships, yet distinctly larger than regular cruisers. These vessels are usually very old in design and do not incorporate many of the features that are typical in current Imperial Navy vessels, like the armoured prow, and are not entirely compatible with current navy tactical doctrine. Due to this, many are retired from active duty, but are still used by reserve fleets. There are also some modernised versions of grand cruisers in service, but since these are much larger and more heavily-armed than their predecessors, they are more often classed as battleships. These kinds of vessels are usually purpose-built or modified from battlecruiser hulls and are not commonly encountered in the Imperial Navy.[2]

Grand Cruisers are no longer used as noted by the various reasons above. The ship has been out classed/replaced by Battleships. Why go back in time?

except they ARE used, they're rare, but they're used, chaos has 3 seperate grand cruiser types, including one that's in the core BFG book. the IN has 3 of their own. they're rare but not unhead of.

This is true but usually only in reserve fleets as it says - I would support Chaos gaining them maybe if the developers would allow us to UNLOCK unique LORE based ships... hint hint ---- > That being said let us see what happens!

if I ahd my way they'd definatly complete the chaos and Imperial fleets
that said a IN expansion could be a healthy sized DLC in and of itself

what I'd do is release a "Grand cruiser pack" DLC, 3 IN grand cruisers, 3 chaos grand cruisers. that'll cover just about everything chaos has that's missing.
