BOMBERS / BRACE FOR IMPACT SYNERGY

Does Brace for Impact increases armour to 45 against Bombers AP ability as well?

Ahaha, you are in luck, I have a bit of time and I like to help. So.

Yes. Brace for Impact is the only thing always counting as armour boost, so it also work against Bombers. You can now get that answer back to the "Initial SM Impressions" Thread, you little rascal you !

Hi Sio'are, I have questions about 2 ships their originals from TT.

1.Mars in TT on his macro battery have greater range then Dictator but in this game they have exactly the same weapon. May I ask you why?

2. Emperor In the TT version have more defensive turrets then Retribution but in game they have the same number. And Again why if I may?

Mars is an carrier but no one would choose this shim if not for NC. Such short range weapons on INs carriers are not allowing them to perform there supportive role properly and Mars could use increasing of the range all the more if this is justified. And what do you think?

Since Ravensburg mentioned that the tooltip for the Gunz is once again wrong (8 attacks instead of 4):


What are the actual stats for the Prow Gunz?
At least I don't believe that tooltip anymore

Macro: 2 damage per each of 2 shots per each of 4(+/- up to 50%) barrels every 2 seconds

Do mutiny effect stack? Can I trigger two mutinies in the same ship by using the chief lybrarian ability twice on the same ship?

Why was the Shadow Kurnous pattern silently buffed with additional launch bay? I mean, I'm not complaining, this buff made it from meh to a very good ship, 2 Shadows can be like a VS in terms of carrier power(which is quite strong), but why this was not in the patchnotes? oO This is a big change, and I only noticed it after like 20 games x)

Yes, yes it does. Ships can mutiny multiple times, but I dunno what can happen to a ship who rebelled 10 times x)

Mutinies trigger 2 random crits, so it will most likely become a hulk.


By Hulk you mean that it can still have HP because of repairs, but no weapons and abilities?

can we get any detailed information on the imperial assassin chance to cause a mutiny,and whether those mutinies also cause the critical effects? for example do the crits caused by the mutiny reflect what subsytem you have targeted, and does targeting a sub system reduce the chance of a mutiny since the mutiny has its own effect slot?

It's an extra crit added to the table so I imagine it's something like this:
1) Deck
2)Guns
3)Engines
4)Generators
5)Fires
6)Bulkhead breach
7)Assassin Mutiny

So 1 in 7 if you're not using the target subsystem ability?
