800 HP 200 sheild
75/50/50 armour
150 speed
(basically identical to an IN Cruiser)

Weapons:

Macro cannon batteries. Only one battery aside, the same weapons you get on the Dominator.

Prow Ordenance Lauch Bay. Seems to be similar in function to the one found on the Aurora (or was it the Solaris?) with the Eldar. One very powerful squadron (Thunderharks) launched from up front.

Bombardment Cannon.
6K range
45 damage
15 second reload
22 crit
270 degree arch of fire
Assuming the IN accuracy applied, this weapon seems pretty crazy.

So we can gather that the SM will be faily slow and somewhat tanky (IN Cruiser stat line), have much weaker broudsides than the IN (only one weapon battery per side) but have some crazy powerful long range strike potential in the form of very good strike craft and seriously damaging brawling weapons...

Seems a little... OP... But I guess that's the SM.
Hopefully this thing is more expensive to compensate the strengths.

The price tag is what we will have to see first mate that will be the major decsion making factor

Also like I said before a looted bombardment cannon would make a much better alternative to NC for blood axe favor since bomb cannon is just a kannon

It's also a Tyrant-class cruiser, so I guess it's a thrown-together statline.

To go with TT stats, you'd have 75/575/757 armor, 600 health, 100 or 200 shields and 188 speed. 12 turrets, 15°/s rotation speed. IE, a light cruiser with potentially cruiser-level shields, all-around heavy armor and cruiser-level anti-ordnance defense.

Hold on, I ran into a Strike Cruiser myself and the ship had a slight difference: the armor was 75 all around.
And do not forget that the Strike Cruiser apparently comes with Terminator Assault as standard.

Well this is a GW-licenced game, the only faction likely to be more powerful than Space Marines is the Grey Knights. :P

I was just joking. Necrons tend to be OP in a lot of things: Dark Crusade; Battlefleet Gothic tabletop; hell, at one point in WH40k they almost killed the entire competitive scene. :lol:

Yeah I think we shouldn't consider those stats finalized, but simply rough approximations. (which they are) I imagine bombardment cannons will have their own unique stats come space marine launch.

I think Orks should get bombardment cannons, but they should be instead a prow option for BCs and BBs, not something unlocked via a favor. partly because not all bombardment cannons are equal, the ones on a battle barge are harder hitting then the ones on a strike cruiser. a favor unlock would likely mean Orks having a prow only version suitable for a light cruiser. it's part of why I'm not a fan of favors unlocking weapons myself.

Only bombardement cannon ever used by Ork ships was the good ol' Ded Killy Device on one of their battleships and the 'ammer BC - it was ounted in palce of the prow torpedoes and the funny part was that it could either fire as a bombardement cannon or as a torpedo launcher.

yeah and the brute ram ship was the scariest thing ever on TT, with rams so deadly even captial ships feared it and it didnt explode automaitically when it hit anything larget than an escort.
As you can tell from that, and the fact that the despoiler is missing its weapons etc, were kinda diverged from TT.

At this point i want a competitivly viable, non rng affected/dependant, consistent preformance faction and i dont care how much "fluff" is ignored to do it.

I want a faction where every ship dosnt spec and upgrade the same exact way, where every player of the faction dosnt use the same favor because the other 3 arnt viable, where you use the same one stratagy every single match

Lastly considering that orks were one of the more underwhelming, underpreforming factions on TT, i dont want to go by TT in the first place
