Why the Heck cant i use my Tau Battleship in Co-op Elite Mode. Is this a joke!!

It is Comp Stomp, why are we regulated which ship we can use and which not.
I WANT MY TAU BATTLESHIP IN CO-OP ELITE MODE

CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE it is ridicoulous!!
