Expanded Single Player Campaign?

Postby JDCollie » 09 September 2016, 04:48

Howdy all, I'm new here. I tried looking around briefly for an answer to my question but was unable to find one.

So, here it is: Will there be full campaign options for factions other than the Imperial Navy? I love Battlefleet Gothic, but I'm not a huge multiplayer fan, and I'd really like the option to bring the Greenskins or the Tau into a campaign. Maybe like the campaign from Dawn of War's Dark Crusade expansion?

Anyway, loving the game so far :D

Frankly, it's very highly unlikely (which is a shame).

Especially anywhere in the foreseeable future. Proper custom games mode is much more likely to be implemented, and even that doesn't seem to come anytime soon...

Tzeentch wills it Tindalos.
Don't oppose the god of fate, bad jokes, pranks and Touhou-level mind bullets.

Plus you don't want Tzeentch to set Nuffle on you, now do you.

I think more single player content is the DLC it make more sense for Tindalos to make. If I recall the numbers correctly in sc2 only 10% of the ppl that bought the game ever touched the multiplayer, and I would expect similar numbers for BFG:A. As much as I would like Tindalos to put some more effort balancing the game for multiplayer, I can see how that is not an efficient use of their resources, particularly considering the tiny competitive multiplayer playerbase.
