Very nice model but I hate her boots, not too much problematic to paint. I haven't painted bolter red because in my humble opinion GW is quite weird about those colourful weapons, red military guns? Yeah right.

she's actually 40k, not AoS.

It was a joke, I was painting (and I still am) mainly AoS which everyone "loves" so much and I wanted to make a little joke.

AoS has really turned around since it first came out, and people are much more positrive about it these days.

ideas from it are apparently being ported to 40ks 8th edition.

ohh yeah 8th edition warhammer 40k was announced

Another 2 models. Knight-Questor and as second approach to Lord Celestant. I must say that I beginning to be happy how those models come out.

that lionhead chestplate looks silly
not criticizing your work, the model itself is silly
have you considered making the eyes look more like sapphires?
make a very reflective under layer then ink it with blue?

other then that great work, love the sword and boots

Yeah, the Lord Celestant is odd, and the most annoying model I have ever painted. I was thinking about this eye but this photo is 2 times bigger than the original mini so the effect will be almost imperceptible.

its the details that bring things to life, and if you can get it right you can do it to the lionshoulderplate too
but most people would never notice so i can understand not risking it

if you do every try something like that on a different model or something
use a pighair brush, it will keep the ink from making curved lines a softhair brush would create
the strait lined irregularities will give it a more cut-gem-look
