Hmm looking at the profiles I think that I'd probably use a fleet made up of a Hades, a few Murders then whatever Pestillaan Class I could afford.

Pestillaan would close once the enemy got into range of the Murders, break up the enemy formation infecting as many ships as possible and stopping them from getting out of the forward arcs of the Murders guns. Meanwhile the Hades would catch any ships that tried to break towards the Muders or tried to flank.

Hopefully that would trap the enemy and cripple them before they even managed to close to a decent range to fight back.

Of course having no experience on the TT I have no idea how effective this would be its just an idea that came to me from reading the profiles. I also guess that this would be quite a low cost fleet.

Massed torpedoes would eat a formation like that alive.
Force the Murders to turn away and cripple anything that it hits. Also the Pestillaan is exceptionally slow and vulnerable to lances.
A formation like that is a high-risk high-reward endeavor.

Hmm so what can you actually use to shoot down torps? In joes vid they seemed to e getting intercepted quite frequently at any sort of range but I couldn't really see what was doing it, is that what fighters are for?

Yes.
And you have PD turrets.
But unless you're going carrier heavy don't count on it stopping enough of them if they fired on mass.

It should also be noted that the Terminus Est was the origin of the Despoiler design.

really cool work.

But can you add links to the "ship profile" posts in the startpost?

It's kind of annoying to have to search through the pages without knowing where a certain ship profile got posted, because of the comments in between.

I would even be willing to compile it myself.

Go for it, it's actually exactly this reason why I encourage people not to make any posts directly onto the topic.
It beacomes very tricky to navigate.
