[SOLVED] Can't play multiplayer "Retrieving Data From Server..."

Hi

I played one game after the patch when i wanted to close the game there was a problem with saving my profile

Since then i can't access multiplayer

I am stuck on "Retrieving Data From Server..."

Pls Halp

I am having the same issue, it transitions into "This is taking more time than it should". However I didn't play a game after the patch

I had that issue pre-patch - sometimes it appeared that it was not conencting to the server - the icon in top right was red instead of green?

Yah, for me the symbol appears as red.

I think that means you are disconnected - sometimes it came back to green for me - otherwise I had to crash the game using Task manager......

Same here, I'm so tired of this beta testing...

No support, just a crapy forum, no hotline, no chat, no E-Mail support. Seriously what did I spend money for? Playing one day and trying the whole evening to play again? Just uninstalled this piece of sh... and will never touch it again.

Locked out from Multiplayer after force shutdown.

After I had to force shutdown the game while waiting for a friend in the match making lobby when it never let him join and statrad up the game again entering multiplayer it wount let me get in.

It says: Retriveing data from server... Pleas wait. Then after a short while after it pops up "This is taking longer time then it should"...

I got the bitter feeling that it's game over, I have tried to verifiy game files. When this happen back in closed beta my commader was literally dead. But now I can't even get in to multiplayer... gg :(

A. Please configure Battlefleet Gothic: Armada in administrator mode at startup:

1. Run Steam and click LIBRARY.
2. Right click on 'Battlefleet Gothic: Armada' and click 'Properties'.
3. Click the tab 'LOCAL FILES' then the button 'BROWSE LOCAL FILES'.
4. Right click on the application 'BattleFleetGothic' and click 'Properties'.
5. Click the tab 'Compatibility' and check 'Run this program as an administrator' under Privilege Level.
6. Click the button 'OK'.
7. Open the folder 'BattleFleetGothic' then the folder 'Binaries' and the folder 'Win64'.
8. Right click on the application 'BattleFleetGothic-Win64-Shipping' and click 'Properties'.
9. Click the tab 'Compatibility' and check 'Run this program as an administrator' under Privilege Level.
10. Click the button 'OK'.

B. Please remove and/or add Battlefleet Gothic: Armada in Windows Firewall:

1. Open Windows Firewall.
2. Click 'Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall'.
3. Click the button 'Change settings'.

If 'Battlefleet Gothic: Armada' is displayed under 'Allowed apps and features:', please remove the game.
To remove the game, click 'Battlefleet Gothic: Armada' and click the button 'Remove' then click the button 'Yes'.

Then add manually Battlefleet Gothic: Armada in Windows Firewall.
There are two applications to add: 'BattleFleetGothic' and 'BattleFleetGothic-Win64-Shipping':

1. Click the button 'Allow another app...'.
2. Click the button 'Browse...' under 'Add an app'.
3. Select the application 'BattleFleetGothic' located in 'Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefleet Gothic Armada' and click the button 'Open'.
4. Click the button 'Network types...'.
5. Check 'Private' and 'Public' and click the button 'OK'.
6. Click the button 'Add'.
7. Click the button 'Allow another app...'.
8. Click the button 'Browse...' under 'Add an app'.
9. Select the application 'BattleFleetGothic-Win64-Shipping' located in 'Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefleet Gothic Armada\BattleFleetGothic\Binaries\Win64' and click the button 'Open'.
10. Click the button 'Network types...' under 'Add an app'.
11. Check 'Private' and 'Public' and click the button 'OK'.
12. Click the button 'Add'.
13. Click the button 'OK' to close Windows Firewall.
14. Run the game.

Nothing above worked. I even tried with turning off both Windows firewall and AVG AntiVirus and the issue still remain. I'm totaly locked out of multiplayer. I tried to reinstall the game even. This issue has to be at your end. The game worked just fine untill my friend didn't connect to the multiplayer session and I had to for force restart the game. Still can't get in to multiplayer.

Just started getting this error today. After a new crashed hit my friend and I two games in a row. Can I get a refund or something? I can''t even play this game online now.

No updates from mods or devs? Still can't connect. Upper right corner is green.
