I hope they at least revert lightnings perma damage and actually nerf pulsars in the next patch, otherwise I call this the lost cause until first mods come out.

Remember the Eldar madness in original Dawn of War? Especially Eldar bot AI? We actually had leaks beforehand that like 3/4 of the dev team are Eldar fans, and they indeed turned out the most broken race in original game, they only really got fixed in last patches of DC/SS and later in mods. I really hope it's not the case here. I mean look, is it really that difficult to reduce pulsar damage so that they do not take out battlecruiser in one-two Voidstalker + Eclipse runs?

Dear devs, I know you have a sh.tload of work to do and contradicting wants from different players depending on faction, but if vast majority of players don't like something, it's probably a good reason to think about it.
The sentence below is true

The sentence above is false

So an overall 25% damage reduction (50% damage nerf and ~33% cd buff) and the loss of 3k range without buffing the survivability doesn't count as a nerf?
I play Orkz to collect all those salty Imperial tears

Yeah. Sm/Mok has been nerfed too hard, while Bieltan has been NOT nerfed at all. There is zero reason to take these favours now.

Well, I do not know about why they nerfer Sm/Mok so hard(well, with dauntless/hellbringers spam you can get up to 12 LS on a single target in a row, which could have been quite painful and it may be was deemed too strong for those races). But I understand, why Eldar marks were left half the same - Eldar are not the race for a direct combat, they have the lowest troop rating and they do not have shields to protect themselfs from LS. If they go for a LS, they are putting themself at quite a risk with an enemy so close and they need something solid in return.

EDIT: Also, Biel-Tan and Ultwe marks were actually nerfed as well, they now give twice less troops rating.

Doesnt excuse jack or shit. MoK and Astartes favors are effectivly obsolete now. Dont forget that these favors were predominantly used to counter the eldar cheeze....

Im fine with regular LS not hard critting but the LS were SMs and MoK main selling point. Now the only chaos favors that are good are MoS and MoN. Tzeentch is too situational to be good in every situation.

And? Eldar can now repair all damage done by LS instantly while having lightning strikes that can hit at 3+ and perna crit.. this is bullshit no ifs and buts.

The pulsar nerf just damaged their alpha potential, pulsars are still their go to weapon for damage dealing. Without taunt, kannon range, and ap rounds I cant keep Eldar ships around long enough to kill them, while Eldar players are pretty much playing the same. They get in pulsar range, and get rite back out, while kiting untill their cool downs are up. Orks got nerfed hard vs almost every match up including Imperials who still have AP rounds and can now brawl better than orks and still have better range.

AP rounds dont bother eldar their armor is lower than 25. Also orks got abilities that compensate for the lack of the crutch they had... zapps are your go to weapons of choice vs chaos. 2 or 3 zapps are enough to pressure chaos and their attacks have 50 50 chance of avoiding shields and holos.

While I like the majority of the changes, and I feel the team is doing a good job, there's something I have to say. And I will say it less politely and eloquently than I usually do.

Orks Kannonz are no longer affected by upgrades.

Oh, bloody zoggin' great. Da' jus' leaves 'em bloody zoggin' useless half o' da time, don't it? We might as well ha' da boyz chug gobos out da airlocks fer more effect. Eldar an' chaos boyz special-like, dem don't like gettin' close. Just zoggin' goin' to dance around dem space rock fields and chuck light shows at us.
- Drops Squig and walks off da bridge.

Ah well. Time to go to all my ork ships and replace all of the ones that now have 3000 range kannons.

Also, ork ships that only have the range upgrade cannot replace it, since they cannot select it. It shows up clear white as an icon and stares at you through the screen, taunting you. Only way to change the upgrade is to replace the ship anyway.
- Its on a light kroozer with broadside kannons. It had range upgrade and since it wasn't automatically removed, I cannot select it either since it is caunted as an illegible upgrade.

So does a temporary subsystem critical look different from a permanent one? If you don't observe what attacked you, and you get a subsystem critical, how will you tell if it's temporary or permanent at that point in time?

Also, if a subsystem is under a temporary critical hit, is it still vulnerable to a permanent critical hit, or does the RNG ignore the subsystem selection for a permanent if it's already under the temporary critical effect? That could be a set-up for a minor bug, if a temporary subsystem critical is ignored during the process to apply a new permanent subsystem critical.

Does any eldar player actually know how to use those darkstalkers?
About Darkstalkers or w/e that is every eldar player uses them at the start, pretty much marking himself ------->Priority target here<--

The fact that this still happens is ridiculous in itself.
It baffles my mind why they think it's OK that squadrons reveal your ship and should be visible across the map.

Delusional given Eldar got the same nerf that hit everyone else with criticals.
What is your Duty? To serve Emperor’s Will.
What is Emperor’s Will? That we fight and die.
What is Death? It is our duty.
What is your Duty? …

Sadly, not that I know of. The Savages are stuck with them until Tindalos makes a fix for this, either allowing us to remove the upgrade, or removes it for us.
