sopmehow I doubt the widowmaker would break space marines, but the homing boarding torpedos mated with the sensor range could have some unintended concequences yes

Because it was a bug that its price was lower in the first place, each armament has a point price in this game and the price of the cruiser was disproportional.
They did mention several bug fixes too.
There's no bug fix mentioning the Shadow or even some generic recalculating of ship costs.
