Re: Some More Thoughts

Yea... I was surprised when I saw that even the Custodian doesn't have more than 2 Ion Cannon batteries on it. I find that odd.

Re: Thoughts on Tau

nerf the experimental railgun and you make it basically worthless as a "single weapon", since it is only strong when spammed That's not a constructive comment in the slightest. The Railgun in its current form is pure cheese. There's absolutely zero counterplay. At least with Nova Cannons ...

Re: Some More Thoughts

Markerlights doesn't make better against Ordnance as much as the extra Defense Turrets. It makes it easier to get overlapping arcs of fire from multiple ships, but then you've got a whole other slew of problems from having ships clumped together to tightly (here comes the nova cannons!) So Ordnance ...

Re: Mont'ka vs Kauyon

Hi Admirals, We will take into consideration your points about the Tau Warfare, and we're trying to adjust them in order to be more balanced. It's a completely new mechanic added and and really great to have some feedback from you about this. Maybe something like removing the Stealth requirement fo...

Re: Some More Thoughts

1. I would argue that the same can be said about the Stealth Alloys. Does that mean that Stealth Alloys also need to be cut from the game? Not having Stealth Alloys against someone who does means they get to Railgun and Torp you with impunity. But I think we'd both agree that it doesn't need to go (...

Re: Tau armor and outflanking

Their front armour is okey on its own but I feel like the 75 shield armour either needs to be toned down to 50 shield armour, or make it all around 25 armour shield like the Imperial voss upgrade. Just bring Disruption Bombs. What I normally do is place the bomb on them as to where the Tau ship is ...

Re: Remove from Tau Stealth alloy.

The upgrade needs to be removed from Tau Transports but that's about it. I have yet to lose a Transport Mission as defender as Tau.

Re: Renown increased by 5k in one battle...

I think its because of the Beta. It's meant to allow you to easily get a lot of renown so that you can test things out better. My lvl 7 Eldar Admiral is sitting on 3k Renown (which is more than what I have my lvl 8 Eldar Admiral that has a lvl 10 Voidstalker on the main server) and my lvl 8 Tau admi...

Re: Tau armor and outflanking

I don't find that Tau need an armor nerf. Experimental Railguns need to be dealt with, but Tau players who just get into engagement range and sit there are bad and don't need a Tau nerf to be dealt with properly. Use Bombs to force Tau ships to move; either use Stasis Bombs because their large enoug...

Re: Stronghold might be too good for it's point cost.

Admittedly I haven't used the ship that much. I find the fact that it really needs to have an asteroid field near it to get the most out of it to be more of a liability than an asset. However, I think its important to remember that when it comes to battleships, its one of the slowest and weakest arm...
