I switched to the mod again and I just noticed that in the newest version, the custom games still have old point limits for cruiser clash, at 700/350, while Tindalos themselves raised it to 800/400 ages ago. We could always check out how the hp increase affects the game and if it pushes SM over OP line, revert it, do something else.

Buuuut, with the frequency of balance changes, it's is simply not an option sadly.

The slow upgrade should apply all the time, even when hitting shields. This makes no practical sense whatsoever. If the zzzap doesn't pierce shield, how would it affect hull, let alone engines? A simple fix would be to make master of sanctity ability grant immunity to effects like this. Better yet make the ability test the targets morale. This would make Space marines completely immune to it, and other races could at least offset its effectiveness. If chief librarian has to deal with this...

Yes but here in the game Eldar are already (as you said) brokenly OP. Only pulsar nerf brought them back to somewhat (very somewhat) balanced state, but now they have more launch bays and an Eldar carrier fleet is a nightmare to face when in hands of experienced player. You simply can't give them 5...
