^ Heh, yes. I find it hilarious that I can tell where a full stealth Eldar or Chaos fleet is located because it decided to launch fighters.

Chaos fleets should definitely carry beacons, over probes if necessary. Drop shields, attach beacon, and let the enemy choose between either giving you permanent vision on their bunched up fleet, or separate the beaconed ship from the flock and let it be come easy pickings.

Although, Voss probably comes up on top in combination with Shield Transfers.

Voss's value is also in it's effectiveness against alpha damage, rather than sustained damage. It can be argued that, RNG permitting, fully blocking a mega kannon shot or a pulsar pulse is more valuable than average EHP.

Agreed, I think Nova Cannons and Plasma Bombs should both destroy ordinance inside their radius. With enough Novas (2 minimum, but 3 for much better results), you can pressure a carrier fleet pretty well, especially if you've got your own carrier(s) for AA. What I'd like to see is mapped hotkeys appear on the button they are mapped to. As it stands I either have to force myself to relearn hotkeys as I switch between Admirals, or stick to only clicking. It'd be really nice to have a mini "T" or something in the corner of special slot 1, for ex...

Great guide!

Might I suggest that you write a general tactics guide for each faction against every other faction? I think it'll be very helpful for new players, and also experienced players new to a particular faction.

EDIT: Having a long range option for Orks for added pressure would be nice - and maybe get Orks another viable build besides traktor.

I am all for a matchmaking system, but you should be aware that even a perfect matchmaking system can't take player experience into account. Ship levels and favors make a difference, but actually knowing what to do in any given situation, against any given faction is what makes the biggest differenc...
