Re: [SPOILER] SM Strike Cruiser stat line (SM Favour Mission)

It's also a Tyrant-class cruiser, so I guess it's a thrown-together statline. To go with TT stats, you'd have 75/575/757 armor, 600 health, 100 or 200 shields and 188 speed. 12 turrets, 15°/s rotation speed. IE, a light cruiser with potentially cruiser-level shields, all-around heavy armor and cruis...

Re: [SPOILER] - Lost a mission... did anyone win it?

Won it on normal with a Lunar and three Swords with AP ammo. Rushed and cleaned up the two first waves with the Swords going after the weaker group, then just rampaged into both groups on the third wave and held them at bay by sacrificing the Swords and ramming my Lunar straight through a squadron o...

Re: Resurrecting Retribution buff requests

What you need to understand is that the range simply doesn't matter at all in this scenario. I am talking about raw damage potential. The actual damage drops proportionally at whatever range you're at (aside from lances, which as I said are not important here). Range actually doesn't make any signi...

Re: Resurrecting Retribution buff requests

Yeah, the Ret and to some degree the Overlod and Tyrant are just in a bad spot right now. At least the Retribution and Overlord need to either have their batteries replaced with heavy plasma macros and their points cost slightly increased - or be left as is and given a significant cost reduction. I'...

All carriers have half capacity compared to the TT. Except the Styx, which for some reason has 2/3.

Re: Traktor Beam Spam

It does not matter if the IN can turn better than orcs or not. Orcs right now are impositioning their playstyle on all the other factions. So much nonsensical whining here. Imperials having better turning and an infenitely more flexible boost only doesn't matter if the imperial player is too incomp...

Re: Traktor Beam Spam

Turning is an ESSENTIAL COMPONENT of mobility. Orks have an inflexible, semi-uncontrollable forward boost that can only be used with an entirely full engine bar and the ability to stop. IN has a pinpoint-accurate, tailorable boost that can be activated with the engine bar at anything except complete...

Re: IMP fleet atm

The Mars class is discontinued. The Mars-class was discontinued ~800 yers before the Gothic War, but remained a common sight all over. Then during the Gothic War it proved itself such a massively useful asset to imperial fleets that it wasn't just put back into production on the martian shipyards, ...

Re: Caliber of rounds.

Lore wise they do have homing, but only in the radius of a few thousand kilometers, which is in 40k space combat terms, not that big an area. So basically, the old BFG TT game referenced it as the torps all hitting if one hit the ship's base. That's what I meant with terminal guidance. Actually, th...
