Re: Modability?

You also made a point with warhammer. Wh40k is really big. Why not make mods for it? In my opinion simply we cant. Its games workshop and they want make money out of everything. If there is a little chance that modders make stuff for the game for free and they cant sell the "official"-Ver...

Re: Modability?

Seriously guys, you are so so fixated on TCs that you cannot stray from the matter? That you like it or not, find it preposterous, or deem it too early to mention TCs, if mod tools are created, either by the devs team or by users, someone WILL at some point attempt a TC, regardless of what people mi...

Re: Modability?

It is lame, because I don't see why it should be done. That's not an argument at all. People could indeed petition for a studio & publisher to make such a game in their favourite game system/verse, but when you're satisfied with a game's mechanics and find it relevant for a TC then that's a mis...

Re: Modability?

Why lame? If someone wants to use the engine and BFG:A mainframe to do a total conversion of the ST/SW/Halo/Macross/pick-your-poison-universe spaceship battles, who's to look down on that. All the better, it means the BFG:A system would be adaptable and flexible enough to be applied to other TT game...

Re: Modability?

THere is no need for Wh40k Mods (cause ithink we will get them over DLC's ;) I remember reading an equivalent statement back then with DoW, and look how the community strived around mods (hell, there is still life around it after all this time) and generated further interest in the game. Total conv...

Re: 3D space movement - how far does this go?

No, Destraex, there weren't any rules about attitude/altitude sectors. The only sectors you would see mentioned were the arc quadrants (with the red/white compass) for firing/hitting purposes.

Re: Single Player

Well, some people claim the 2010 faqs & compendium to not be official despite the board of reviewers having been named, back in the day, by the GW specialist team and the J himself, and the documents bearing the full GW copyright, making it a complete 'legal' follow-up to the once GW-stamped 200...

Re: Single Player

I assume this is how you get access to new ships, but than again GW only made like 3 ships for AM and nothing at all regarding inquisition fleet, so hell if I know. Don't mistake models for actual ships from a fleet list. You may want to have a look at the 2010 FAQs & Compendium : AdMEch Inquis...

Re: Battlefleets and Formations

I dunno, SM escorts are murder. Well, they're fine since Astartes ships, but IN ones are comparatively easier to get rid of, even if they're fast. I'll be studying some naval formation and movements hoping some it it translates into opportunities in the game. Except that if BFG:A translates TT BFG ...
