Tau Messenger Animation

When a Messenger is near another tau ship a little bubble looking thing appears to travel from the messenger to the other tau ship. I can't tell if this is just a cosmetic animation or if it is having some obscure, unmentioned affect.

Re: Imperator's and PistonMiner's 'Veritatem Imperialis' mod - Prerelease test available

Few new ideas for SM: BB Mark 2 will have an additional prow nova. Mark 4 strike cruiser with lance replaced by nova. I don't recal SM having nova cannons anywhere in the lore... whats the reasoning for this? Giving Boarding torpedoes 90 or 120 sec cooldown instead of 45. Making that skill have a l...

Re: Tweaking the Surrender button so that people cannot use it to punish their ally in 2v2's

While being kicked out of the match like that may have been unpleasant, it may have been for the Ork players own good. In the case you describe, if only the chaos player was removed it would be a single level 2 ork player vs 2 level 8 enemies. That match-up has a high likelihood of ending with all ...

Re: Who will win 40k?

It was the ruinous powers who caused the Imperium to become the sad and dark place it is! It is good that you recognize that the Chaos Gods have already overcome the emperor. That fight is over already and the imeprium is just waiting for his bloated, soul eating corpse to finish rotting. It was th...

Re: You have 3 free wishes to improve the game, what would that be ?

1. More work on campaigns, including ones that are random for replaybility, and ones that are multiplayer conquests of the gothic sector. 2. All Factions (Tyranids, dark eldar, etc), then All subfactions (different sector battlefleets, different craftworld factions, etc.) 3. A Rogue Trader mode with...

Re: Who will win 40k?

Chaos engulfing the galaxy and mutating it to its will, creating an eternal realm of both life, horror and death? Tyranids devouring all life and scourging worlds clean in their predatory rampage, leaving it an empty, lifeless husk? Necrons, that ancient evil, awakening fully and proving to be unst...

Re: Who will win 40k?

none of the chaos gods would dare to directly challenge Him, at least not in His current state. It could be that the Chaos God's actual aims for the horus heresy was to entomb the emperor on the golden throne, enlsaving him to keeping the chaos feeding engine known as the Imperium of Man in it's pe...

Re: Who will win 40k?

As for the Emperor is the only thing saving everything from destruction, I always viewed this as being part of the ridiculous religious propaganda the Imperium built up around him (I hope he really can't see what they have done to his Empire as it must be completely infuriating, and Dark Eldar leve...
