Re: The Fall of Cadia
SPOILERS! Cadia is not conquered. It blows up when the pylons overload and the Warp surges out to expand the Eye. Creed maybe dead but I'm not sure. Source? Certainly makes sense, I've already read a bunch of other spoilers about which characters survive and how Creed is listed as MIA while the...

Re: The Fall of Cadia
Something thats relevant to this game though: the Planetkiller versus the Phalanx. Ship that can destroy planets versus the largest Imperial warship in the galaxy that (depending on sources) was either built by a primarch or is from the Dark Age of Technology. Would be pretty epic battle to watch

Re: left hand marines?
The crappy answer is that GW just cast assault marines and terminators with the melee weapons in their left hands. Meanwhile vanguard veterans, Calgar's honour guard, the plastic Captain, and many others (most of the ICs actually, come to think of it) have their blades in their right hand. It just c...

Re: kroot system targeting
Wasn't even aware this was a thing. I always assumed targeting a specific system just increased the chance of critting that system and reduced the chance of critting others to compensate, thus making targeting a specific system have no effect on crit chance against the Kroot sphere. Of course, I cou...

Re: Battlestar Invictus
Certainly an intriguing tale, more for seeing how non-Grimdark humans would react to the 40k universe. A bit of constructive criticism, but it doesn't really feel like you're getting over just how brutal the universe is. I'd love to see Price and co's reactions to things like a Commisar executing a ...

Re: Apocalypse-Class Battleship
I wonder how tough it would be for the devs to add a behavior (perhaps a button up by hold fire?) that directed lance boats to "hold lances" until target void shields were down. Benefit: lances are actually used as the counter-armor weapons they are. Cost: lower average DPS while dropping...

Re: Apocalypse-Class Battleship
I'd say that sums the situation up pretty well. So we're left with an entire category of weapons for the Imperial Navy that aren't good enough to be a primary armament, which is ironically the exact same situation the IN is in in universe. The only lance-only ships are either battleships that have t...

Tis a thing of beauty. Although I imagine the people at Comic-Con would be scared shitless if you were running around with a massive spinning chainsaw
