I really hope they add in the old classes. Yeah, they're slightly worse stat wise, but whatever they're SO GORGEOUS. Oh man the pictures online really do them a disservice. They had such style, so unique. Much better than the flying wings of the current batch IMO.

Demiurg and Kroot Warp Animations
Kroot and Demiurg ships do not use gravitic drives, instead travelling through the warp like Imperials. It would be cool to see their warp out animations reflect this. EDIT: It could be really cool to upgrade the "systems" of a Demiurg ship instead of crew. Currently they can't upgrade cre...

Re: Lazy Model Design
The devs have taken the weapon from a tank, a weapon that is about 10 feet long, right, and put it on a ship that is over a kilometer long. It's not aesthetically similar, it's IDENTICAL. Lances work like lascannons, so let's just put a predator sponson on a ship. Right? No, there would be outcry. ...

Re: Lazy Model Design
My point is, do not blame Tindalos for being TOLD that they HAD to use THIS. This information came about as a result of my post. It was not known beforehand. If it was, please show me where so that I can be more informed. This thread is about dead so let me re-iterate one last time. If Tindalos was...

Some More Thoughts
1. The Tau Seeker Missile upgrade distorts the Tau mirror matchup heavily. A fleet without will have to run from a fleet that does, and considering effects of a mirror matchup (IE your bombers are countered by their matching fighters, etc) this one thing changes the match up in a way that I believe ...

Re: Thoughts on Tau
Phalanx you have a lot of very great points! I'd like to comment on the Demiurg/Protector match up. First, the devs have neglected to include the armored prow of the Demiurg ships. Second, the Demiurg ships have very high dps, something that falls off versus armored prows and armored shields of the ...

Re: Some Observations
Why is ANYONE debating the turrets. Literally, go into a custom game, take five minutes, and find out for yourself. The damage IS that high VERSUS SHIELDS. It seems to be affected by armor though. This leads me to believe accuracy is 100% and it doesn't have armor piercing. Again, it took just unde...
