That's odd. I would have expected (and respected) Tindalos to stand by one of the core design decisions in their game. This just adds another variable to complicate balancing and it splits an MP community which isn't nearly large or mature enough for that yet.

Oh well.

The interdiction range is so big; If there is a ship ANYWHERE near you, forget about being able to warp somewhere. It's just, urg - It seems very, very impractical to use in combat. Forget about warping your ships out of a stasis or plasma bomb trap - If you have more than 2 ships, they will get in...

This game really shines when you get a good match-up and engage in a battle of wits. I remember a low-level game against a Chaos kiter, slowly pecking me to death from range. So I hid my entire squadron in a dust cloud, forcing him to get close in order to reach a decision. Felt very Kirk :D
