Its been a while, but I'm pretty sure there is a button that says something like "switch to multiplayer/skirmish admirals" that you need to click to see your admirals before entering the battle. I've missed it the first time I tried to use the feature as well.

You can use both multiplayer and skirmish admirals in custom games to 1v1 your friends.

Styx got revealed. I moved out of range of enemy detection yet it could not become hidden again. There were no beacons enemy ships in range to detect. Talking about persistent mode. In my opinion renown is one of the 3 major flaws that are driving away the new people. (Other 2 being random missions and ship unlock and leveling system). Imperial torpedoes (didn't use other ones) are passing trough Tau cruiser wings (the extreme flanks/sides on the ship when firing at it from the front or back) and continue on.

Happened today, 2 dauntless rammed a bunch of transport ships, survived with easily 40% hp. Nearby ork had 3 savages and 2 light cruisers.
