You can make a mark 8 Marine close enough by just swapping out the Mark IV helmet for a Mark VII.

Yeah the new jetpack marines look dumb. The new mark 10 is okey, a bit cheap with half mark 4 half mark 8 but at least convertible.

I would like for skirmish and custom to be merged, so that you can have all the custom settings for skirmish matches, like choosing points and opponent race and fight style.
